Frequently Asked Questions

You will be promoted through the Cinevite platform. If you purchase an Offical Press Release you will be promoted through a film industry newswire. You will also be promoted on the Cinevite event pages of our partner events if you are an official selection. These pages are promoted to event attendees. If you do not have a project enrolled through a Cinestruct partner event, you will be promoted in the “More Films On The Festival Circuit” section of the Cinevite platform and on cinevite.com. You'll also be included in a post shared with members of the Film Festival Alliance.

We strive to have your Promo Kit ready before the start of the next event where your project is being featured. Specific turnaround times vary by service: Press releases are delivered within 2-3 business days after you submit your press release information form and written interview question(s), with distribution following 2-3 business days after approval. Written reviews are completed within 7-10 business days after you submit your written review information form. Video interviews are published within 10 business days of the interview date.

Our Written Analyses are professionally written by a Cinestruct staff reviewer or by an industry professional with credible experience in the film, media, and entertainment industry.

Your press release will be published to a film industry newswire. We partner with SHOOT Online for the distribution of our press releases. We reach audiences through the following SHOOT Online distribution placements: SHOOTonline.com site placement, SPW Media Alerts (sent within 2 hours of being published), Brand New[s] (sent weekly on Wednesdays), SHOOT Dailies (emailed to subscribers), and the weekly SHOOT >e.dition. Select releases are published in SHOOT Magazine‘s regular “On The Wire” column.

Written Analyses are published on the Cinevite platform and and available through your project's page on Cinevite. It may also be highlighted on Cinevite partner event pages and published on Letterboxd.

If you purchase the Video Interview add-on, you'll get exclusive placement directly on Cinevite partner event pages when your film is an official selection at a partner event. Your video interview will be featured in the "Meet the Official Selections" section of the event page and also embedded on your project's page on the Cinevite platform.

Short film reviews are 40 minutes or less in any category. Feature Film reviews are 41-120 minutes in any category. Please contact us at support@cinevite.com if you have a film that is longer than 120 minutes.

Yes! We offer a 10% discount to official selections of Cinestruct partner events. Your official selection discount code will be revealed on this page when your project is enrolled through a partner event.

Yes! We offer a 15% discount to students. Reach out to us at support@cinevite.com with proof of your student status to receive your student discount code.

Contact us to share the events where your film may be screening. If we are not yet partnered with any of the events, we will reach out to the organizer(s). Also, ask your upcoming events that you want support from Cinestruct through their event (it’s free to partner and brings our direct support to their official selections)!

Payments are fully refundable prior to work beginning. Work begins once you submit the required information forms or schedule your video interview. After work has commenced, full refunds will not be issued. Refund requests should be directed to support@cinevite.com.

Contact support@cinevite.com for assistance with modifying your order. Note that once work has begun on any service (after submission of information forms or interview scheduling), that portion of the service is non-refundable.
