"Artist uncredited" was shot within two days with a very small team and the help of family and friends. 
Main location was the Prinzenpalais, a palace, now used as an art museum, in the city of Oldenburg, Lower Saxony.
The museum houses the modern art collection of the State Museum for Art and Cultural History.

About the Project

Sven Fuhrken started his film career as assistant camera in feature like "Toprak" & "The Spiritulaziation of Jeff Boyd" before starting to write and direct his own movies. "Artist: uncredited" is his first short movie.

Chris Hirschhäuser worked as a photographer before switching to the cinematography. His work for feature movies like "Toprak", "Vera","The Dark Girl" earned him several awards. "Artist: uncredited" is his directional debut.

Friends since elementary school Chris and Sven love cinema and movies and bringing their very own visions to life just like their idols David Lynch and John Carpenter.

About the Team

The melancholic story of a man who obtrudes explanations about his displayed artwork to visitors of a museum. But when the art is not genuinely, the truth behind is often tragic.
