ALOHA MEANS I LOVE YOU, is a love letter to all the incredible older women in my life who have shown me how to age without getting old. Sadly, it's rare to see older women depicted respectfully on screen.

In 2023, men over 45 anchored over a third of the top 100 grossing films. Only three of those 100 films featured women over 45 in a leading role and ZERO had a woman over 60 in a leading role. While Denzel Washington can still keep the world safe at age 69, Tom Hanks can find his humanity at 67, and Harrison Ford can jump out of planes at 80, most roles for older women make them the butt of the joke or the doddering fool. This sweet little film is a celebration of being alive and full of dreams at any age.
