Bippy the Little Robot is the newest animated short film from Glenna Burmer and Deep Sky Studios. Unlike most films where the music is composed after filming ends, the music drives the story. In her creative process, Glenna envisions the storyline, composes the music to relay that narrative, and creates distinctive characters, then works closely with Deep Sky Studios to visually translate the music’s style and atmosphere. Deep Sky, based in Portland, Oregon, is a design, post-production and live-action studio known for its groundbreaking work in 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, product visualization and visual effects. The team brings remarkable versatility in style and genre to their projects.

About the Project and Animation Team

Bippy the Little Robot takes place in the future when humans are long gone and all that is left behind are their broken and forgotten machines. Within the ruins of this landscape lives an irrepressible little robot named Bippy who embodies a zest for life and spreads a message of hope by sharing his love of music.
