Some revolutions are Quiet. Often in my filmmaking (writing), I allow voices and visuals to be distilled into a magnifying glass that does not rely always on the 'in your face' message or meaning, but rather, like poetry, it means to cascade a mythology for the viewer to embrace, embolden and empower their own knowing. About themselves, the world, others. 
Ginok's narration alongside her paintings, an evocatively paced unravel into the artist's mind, and how one approaches art, especially focusing on what is more true (and necessary) through the female gaze. The daring of self upon a blank canvas a brave act, and it was my desire to allow the beauty and breadth of her work, align with my own journey, which is, to be more visible. We must show up. Loudly. Quietly. Meaningfully.
