This is a story of a mother born through the magic of a child's deepest desire. There is magic and fun, but there is also grief that this family is walking through together. This film is about how those seemingly small moments of creativity, laughter, and love can ignite our relationships with one another.

About the Project

Fun, sun, and film are our three loves at Barking Sand Productions. We love stories and the places they take us both physically and emotionally. We run sets that have cast and crew return to work with us on project after project. We love the wild west of problem solving at 2am with 10 minutes till next shot and just some gaff tape to make it work.  Whether writing a script, on a shoot, or deep in post-production, we take great care of the details in collaboration. We are who you want in the trenches with you.

About the Team

A young stepmom bonds with her new stepdaughter by making their model clay creations come to life, but the imaginative game gets the little girl wondering if maybe she can bring her mom back to life in the toaster oven, too.
